gardening question :):):) as advised by G.O.Y. members i have not pulled any stalks of my first rhubarb plant which has grown very good and has strong growth,now do i leave them die natural and then give good cover over winter ie manure or compost thanks steve

Same here, just let it die down naturally, mine is very early and is still going strong now, never have mulched mine, but I know that it is the proper way to do it. lol but me being me etc etc etc........... hope it grows well for you next season Snoopdog. :O)

I just let mine die back naturally and sometimes if I have spare compost I mulch it but to be honest most years I don't bother. it came through the 2 bad winters unscathed. it is as tough as old boots.
