I have a plant which spreads too well, it has small yellow flowers and I think the name sounds like....echomilla mollus! whats its propername.

Definitely alchemilla mollis - always renowned for how it looks when there's a bit of water on the leaves.
One of the common names is Lady's Mantle.

Likes damp soil, spreads by seeding itself. You can reduce its spread by deadheading before the seeds set, but its a bit of a faff...
