Yes, they can be taken in July as semi-ripe cuttings. Probably best if they are kept quite short, perhaps no longer than 6in. Use peat (if you want) with sharp horticultural sand mixed 50/50. Use a clay pot 6in diameter and place them all around the edge of the pot. Water well and put a poly bag over secured around pot with elastic band. Keep outside and out of direct sun and they should root after about 6 weeks.They are quite slow so be patient. Dunk the pot occasionally to water.
