Hi I have got 12 helenium plants in 4" pots about 15" high,then I had to go into hospital before I had a chance to put them out,and I presume its to late now to do so,can they be saved /kept alive for next year?pathumwan

It's the ideal time for planting them, providing they can be kept watered in dry weather. I plant most of my Herbaceous in late summer....it gives them time to get established before winter.
