About a week ago we had a gorse hedge replanted to neaten it up, we have watered it daily as instructed but it has started to appear to wilt. Is this normal or has replanting it killed it?

Certainly looks like it. Try a miniature berberis for a low hedge instead. Unless you have a dwarf variety you may well regret planting gorse, it normally gets quite tall and pretty wide and is horrible to cut and dispose of (I was burning some today so the memory is fresh)

It is not normal to replant a gorse hedge, I've never seen gorse grown as a hedge, which gross are you growing?

October is a better time to replant shrubs. The recent gale force hot winds are not much good.
Winter rains help them settle.

How do I say thanks?
