During a bad winter I thought my corderline had died. Much to my surprise it survived. It has three main stems and is now quite large, is it possible to split this into three different plants and if so how.

I would not do it until April if you are going to try. You need to dig it up and then split it with a sharp spade/knife. If the growth is close together then just remove one of the new growths.
