I bought flower bulbs last spring but never planted (iris,hollyhocks etc) can I plant outside now in September, the pack states plant Feb_may,, please advise as I bought a lot

Well, the only way there are going to grow is to plant them! As to whether they are still viable you are just going to have to wait and see!
