I planted calla lilies for the first time this year ,they came up quite good ,now with the cold weather not far away do I dig them up, dry them, and store, or can I leave them in the pots ?I live in N.E england

red ,when you say leave them in pots ,do you mean put the pots in the shed ? I don`t have a green house

Yes, a shed is fine as it will be dry. It is wet and cold that does them in.

What colour are the flowers? As a rule, any non-white ones are not hardy and need to be lifted as they cannot take winter wet. I would leave them in pots and store them like that.
