DON'T use a hose or you'll lose all the flowers through shock and too much water pressure.
Use a bug killer that you can use on vegetables and wash chillies before consuming.

Yes I agree I should have said a spray!

Soapy water is much safer than any bug killer no matter how much the manufacturers say it can be used on veg.

I would like to thank ye all for your advice and time, In the mean time I have used my fingers and soapy water it seem to have worked as it has cleared this week . As it has been my first time for growing the plants, I feel so proud of myself that I have got so far
I am uploading some photos of the plants If you have any more advice I would be delighted to take on board , I don’t know what the difference is between the yellow pepper and the Yolo pepper as I used the names from the seed packet. If any one can tell me the difference between them I would be grateful
Many thanks JJ
