It's also called 'Madame le Coultre' - did she get married just after it was named?

Having now looked at both - I've absolutely no idea which one it is now!

I assume 'Marie Boisellot' and 'Madame le Coultre' are names if Clematis candida hybrids.

The parents of Candida are apparently C. lanuginosa and C.patens - can't find out the parents of Marie etc.
I know 'Marie Boisellot' and 'Madame le Coultre' are both names for the same plant bred by Auguste Boisellot (?) in 1885. There's also a Clematis patens ''Mevrouw Le Coultre' which is almost identical. Apparently the anther on 'Marie Boisellot' are completely yellow whilst on 'Mevrouw Le Coultre' the connectives quickly go black at the tips.
My brain hurts now. :-(((
