Hello
I have a back garden that has a lot of tree coverage although it does gat the sun for most of the afternoon in the summ. It is covered in bark at the moment as we had a climbing frame in the garden. When we moved in there was some grass but it was very patchy as the garden had been neglected. Is there a particular seed that would be easy to grow here, its no longer used for playing in as my children are a bit older now but we do have a dog, he is nearly 5 so well past the digging up stage. I would be grateful for any advice. Many thanks. Po

Previous question
You can buy lawn seed specially for shady places, but have you considered not having a lawn, perhaps something else instead? It's just that you do have a dog, and dog wee on lawns burns the grass, so you'll have bald patches in it.
