It would help if you had put where you live on your profile!
This plant is supposedly frost hardy between US zones 4 and 9.
Most of Britain is zone 8, with small areas of zone 9 in the extreme SW.
If you have it in a pot be aware its height and width at maturity is up to 2.5 metres.

The show gardens in my local nurseries in Kent has a large specimen which is open to the elements and thriving so I don't think you would need to protect. Only if you have it in pot and the soil becomes frozen solid in the winter would I have any concerns.

Hi, welcome to GoY, as far as I'm aware, R pseudoacacia lace lady, is fully hardy, but wheras some varieties grow into very large trees, this 1 only grows to about 15ft, less if it's grown in a container, Derek.
