Weed?

Weed! looks like some type of cabbage... not sure what it is from this distance, but it's not something you want in that spot.

Don't think it is a cabbage but definitely not something you want there, out with it!

I get this it doesn't develop into anything you would want to keep.

Looks a bit like Kale to me. A weed is simply a plant in the wrong place so I reckon this one qualifies.

Sorry I do not know the real name for this weed. It is perennial and removing the leaves just encourages it to produce more leaves, so dig out the roots. I very wrongly call it hogweed but its real name escapes me.

Are you sure it's not just a normal sow thistle ?

I'm sure it's a Sow Thistle, probably Sonchus oleraceus. Pull it up!

I've looked at Brassica leaves - could this be Broccoli? - looks very similar!
