Lily??

Hi all, could anyone tell me if this is a lily and what type? I have vague recollections of buying a lily corm but don't recall the type. The leaves look like lily, but the buds don't. Help!

are the buds carried on the top? and are they small? it might be a Martagon...or Turk's Cap?

Your right Lori, it's a Turk's Cap Lily I remember buying it now! Many thanks for that and thanks to all, I've staked it now Trees and things, and I think it may be a dusky pink colour with the spots, we shall see.

Definately a Lily, looks like he needs staking. Not sure on variety. I have one or two that I was given. It's great to see what colours turn up.
