We bought this plant from Lidl about 2 years ago and last year we had only 3 flowers but this year we have lots of buds. Can you please identify the name of this plant as we lost the label with the name on it.

Agree, Camellia - keep it out of early morning sun over winter - sun on frosted buds means the buds fall off.

How big is the pot that it is in, if possible best in the ground.

The pot is fairly big. I have a small patio so unable to plant in the ground. Thanks everyone.

You realise this is going to want to grow to over 6 foot? As it is in a pot will need an ericaceous feed and, as already stated by Bamboo, keep out of early morning sun until danger of frost is past.
