can you tell me whether you are able to plant a rose where previous roses have been planted

Because there is something about the roots on Roses that can cause disease
.Im sure someone can back me up on this

Rose sickness is what you're both thinking of and yes, it's a risk - doesn't always happen though, but if you must plant another rose, buy some Rootgrow - this is a relatively new product on the market and appears to get round this problem. Use it when you plant the rose.
