Does anyone recognise this blue flower? I think they are bulbs. The flower stem have multiple blooms. The leaves arrive long before the flower...narrow staplike and hanging over the edge of the container in an untidy fashion. The photo does do justice to the colour of the flower...it is a ver deep blue.

Sold as Brodiaea. The form most commonly seen is Queen Fabiola, but the Dutch have begun naming every tiny little variation in colour these days.
