Lichen on Magnolia

I have lichen on the bark of my magnolia tree. How do I get rid of it please?

Photo is there Casso and yes it is lichen.

Thank you moongrower. I thought it was fungus and have been spraying it witha fungicide.

Previous question
A small amount of lichen will not harm your magnolia and indicates clean air. If the tree is covered in it just pick off by hand.
