I am growing cucumbers for the first time and I am delighted to see miniture cucumbers growing . However with there rapid growth I have noticed a large fluffy head . Should this be removed.

without a photo or more description I can't really say, just a couple of points -- could it be the flower at the end of the young cucumber or do you mean the tight cluster at the growing points of the cucumber vine? also what colour is it
