I don't know of any Irises that produce a second flush of flowers, Ladybug - all I do after flowering is to snap off the dead heads so that they don't waste energy in making seedpods. You shouldn't cut them back, unless you're splitting a clump, then the 'fans' can be trimmed a little.

Interestingly, there are a few rhizomatous Iris (new varieties) that repeat flower. Apparently Wootons website have them. New to me I must say. A customer told me about them the other day and I still have not looked at it. Will do so now that I have been reminded :-)

Hi Fractal - do please let us know if you find anything out, like names/colours etc. Sounds interesting!
