suzie2shoes has descibed my weed perfectly and i think she is right ,so how do i kill bind weed,is there an effective spray

I am too scared to spray in case I get the the weed killer on any of my plants. I just keep pulling the little blighters up before they can cause too much damage. Digging it out is not an option, as the roots are wide spread and snap off very easily. Just keep pulling it up and as the plant can't photosynthesise it will 'eventually', weaken and die. It's literally a daily chore I'm afraid.

Put some round up in a bowl, done a rubber and then a cotton glove on the same hand. Dip your fingers in the roundup and very carefully wipe them only on the leaves of the plant you wish to get rid of...

Not really, other than something like Roundup or glyphosphate - follow the "growing it up canes" method described by Spritzhenry - spray the growth once its twined round the canes, and don't get the spray on any other plants. You'd be very lucky to eradicate it altogether, but it is a method of control.
