Hi I'm Susie and I am married to Steve and have two grown children. I have lived in Ramsdell for many years and created the garden in 1990 from scratch. I love to garden and I am at my happiest with a pair of secateurs in my hand. I also love to sew, craft & a good book.

I was born in Birmingham, but I haven't lived there for quite some while. My family still live in Tamworth, which is where I lived for a couple of years before going abroad to work and live in Italy.

The garden soil is mostly clay and quite wet. We have made every effort to add lots of good soil to the areas we plant up and it seems to have paid off. although everything seems to grow really quickly, perhaps there is some goodness in the clay.
