Which is the variety of Aruncus that has white flowers, 'ferny' leaves and is a low-growing spreader? I saw 'just what I wanted' on a recent gardening TV prog, and think it might have been Aruncus? Thanks!

What a bonus it would be if any GoYer had seed of this?! Just Googled this dwarf Goatsbeard, but it doesn't seem to be widely available :((

Trouble with it is that seed is only viable for a short time and that is at the end of Summer. It actually self seeds in our garden. I think you are a bit far to come and dig some seedlings out. I have never had much success with moving them though, even when tiny babies. Not sure there are any this year either.

Thanks - I'll probably stop looking then. Tho' Special plants do often sell 'fresh' seeds, so I'll look on their website.

I'm a bit wary of them Sheila. The owner came and gave us a 'talk' a couple of years ago. It was the shortest talk we ever had and quite expensive. Several people bought seeds but hardly any of it ever germinated.

Derry Watkins, Andrew?! How disappointing. I must admit that I'm not a fan of their seeds because there's minimum info on the packet, which means (in my case anyway) going to the website to be reminded of height, time to sow, etc.
Whereas Seedaholic are wonderful :)
