I've just found some potatos from last year thy were in the shed nice and dry but thy had long & short spindley shoots on them would it be ok to rub them off & to plant them this year March or April Thanks

I'd leave the short ones and remove the spindly ones. As you don't plant the until March though they will need to be kept in a very good light to discourage them getting any spindlier! Nothing venture nothing win after all.
