does anyone know what this is please. It has flowers like canterbury bells and has romped its way at least 20 feet up into our oak tree

It's cobaea scandens, a climber from Mexico grown as an annual in the UK. Looks like someone or something dropped a seed for you

when flower 1st appear they look like big cream pods. It seems 1st day of opening they then have a pale green tinge and the following day start turning mauve but yes they doo look like fingers dont they
