I bought a rhodedenrun in 2013 - it was in flower. Last year it only produced leaves from the centre of the ,
'rosette' where the flower should be - it looks to be doing the same this year. I went back to the garden centre last year, from which I bought it, (cost £35) they said I had overfed it, I only followed instructions on feeding. This year I have not fed it at all but it still has no buds. It is is a boder with another rhode, camelias and azaleas. Help please? Joyce.

As with camellias the flowerbuds on rhododendron are set the previous year - so if there are no flower buds you won't get flowers this year.
It needs to be kept well watered (but avoid tap water and don't allow it to become waterlogged) throughout the summer.
Use a specific rhododendron/azalea/camellia (ericaceous) fertilizer according to the manufacturer's instructions - Miracle-Gro does a range that is readily available in the UK.
