I rather like Ants so suggest hiring a Green Woodpecker to sort them out. One visits my lawn on a regular basis and it makes me feel a little bit greener.. When you think of the wonderful life of the Ant colony , it seems a shame to destrot it., they will all depart in a mionth or two.

My problem with ants is that I am often kneeling down either weeding or cutting the edges of the lawn and the little darlings come and swarm all over me and BITE! We occasionally get a pair of green woodpeckers in the garden, I hope they get to work before I have to go out with my kneeler again (if it ever stops raining!)

Buy some ant traps from DIY or Garden Centres and put them where you see the most ants. They do work.
