I have just acquired a phlomis fruticosa. I have an acid soil, which is clay. I have a south facing garden, and have positioned the plant against a fence. It has survived the drought and I water it every 3 days. Can you help with more instructions, and how I can take cuttings.

Just needs full sun and watering till it's settled in. Softwood cuttings in summer or hardwood in autumn is the way to propagate it, but I'd wait till next year, when its larger.
