Could please tell me if they have used tent pegs to give added support for log roll,and if so how successful was it

id imagine your talking about raised edging . if so id get something a bit more robust as urbanite sais there purpus .

Sorry, could you explain a bit - what do you mean by 'log roll' (I'm assuming that you're not a lumberjack or a paramedic)
tent pegs are long and thin to anchor things into the ground - they're not designed to support anything.
