Mariam have a look at the blog I did in 2010. It gives companions for fruit and veg planting. Highlight the link below, right click on the highlight and a drop down menu will appear then click on 'Go to ---- ' in the drop down menu.

click on Scotsgran under my avatar. This will take you to my page, click on blogs, and down the right hand side you will see an archive menu of all the blogs I have written. Scroll down till you come to April 2010 and then you can access the one you want on companion planting written on 28th April 2010. Come back if you still cannot find it and I will pm you.

Herbs generally require free draining, preferably slightly gritty soil, and full sun - they prefer to be on the dry side rather than wet at the roots. Most vegetables require good water supplies, and many grow best in heavier, dampish ground, so most of the time, they're not natural bedfellows, but it depends which veg you want to grow really.
