I have easy access to nettles so am able to make lots of liquid fertiliser. I use the previous year's mix to give all my plants a Spring feed;I understand the liquid is high in nitrogen so is unsuitable for season-long use. Are there any granular fertilisers I can mix in to convert it to a balanced or high potash feed? If so,what would be the proportions?

Hi, welcome to GoY, as Urbanite says, both comfrey and nettles produce a fertilizer a lot higher in potassium, than nitrogen and phosphorous, the figures are comfrey, N1.8 P0.5 K5.3, and for nettles N1.7 P 0.6 K4.5, and as this is a liquid feed you will be unable to mix with any granular fertilizer, Derek.

I think you'll find that nettles, like comfrey, make a high potash feed.
