I had an idea. I want to grow potatoes in a greenhouse in bags to eat in March April time next year. So I would like to know, what seeds are best? I will be growing in a sheltered allotment in London. Thank you.

Highly unlikely to work as an crop responds to daylight hours and will not grow in the middle of winter... Just store the potatoes you harvest this autumn well and they'll be fine this time next year.

We are still eating 'Nicola' potatoes planted as a normal ground crop last year, harvested and stored. They are fine and I will be bringing the last few into the house tomorrow.
