My broad beans are now covered in flower, but despite being well serviced by squadron's of bees, the lower flowers die and none are becoming pods

My broad beans are now covered in flower, but despite being well serviced by squadron's of bees, the lower flowers die and none are becoming pods
they need plenty of water and if you can mist spray them with a fine rose/sprinkler it will help improve pollination.
the pod does take time to form after the blossom drops off though.
