Hello. I've just planted some raspberry plants and the instructions say to support on wire or train against a wall, trellis or fence. What does it mean when it says support on wires or train?

Hi Mrs P Morgan and welcome to GoY. Hopefully you will have planted your raspberry canes in a straight line. You need to put a solid stake in at either end of the line and run wires from one stake to the other. You will then need to use the green plastic coated horticultural wire to tie the canes to the wire. Copy and paste the link below into your browser for more information.

This is because the canes are tall and narrow so they blow over easily and the wires keep them upright.
