Hi I have just potted on 48 trailing begonia plugs. I covered 30 of them with a plastic lid and put them all on the patio in the sunshine. After only a couple of hours it would appear they were scorched and are now looking a bit sad. The other 18 are fine. Will the 30 recover does anyone think? Thank you

First, tiny plants need acclimatizing to sunlight, second, putting them out with a plastic lid probably meant the temperatures, in full sun, under that lid were twice the air temperature outside the lid.
You can use the lid, but in a shady spot, not in sunlight. Hard to say if they'll recover, depends how badly burned/dehydrated they got, particularly at the root.

Can't tell without seeing them! Hope for the best.
Begonias are happy in a shadier spot than full sun though. Make sure they didn't dry out too.
