I’m a balcony garden, and would like to try to grow Brussels sprouts, cabbage and carrot. Could I do this on my balcony?

I do hope that you are considering the weight of your tubs, plant boxes etc & whether the balcony is strong enough to take it, ( accidents with balconies, roof gardens etc are not unknown).

We wouldn’t do; if it was unsafe.

Use a size that works for you and grow what you can. Cabbages need around a foot of ground between them in both directions, carrots at least 4 inches. Unless you have a big balcony where you can house large containers with drainage and raised up off the balcony this is a non-starter.

Carrots and cabbage possibly if you can locate big enough containers. Brussels sprouts I think you will have a real problem with they grow to a metre in height and unless well bedded in won't produce a decent crop.
