Little Chestnut

Not sure what it is, those colours seem quite faded, or maybe its the photograph. Flowers also don't seem to be fully open, not showing the falls or whether they're bearded or not. Height would help too.

I have also sent the photo to Seagate as I know they do collect themselves , if I find out from them I will let you know , I will ask my friend for some more photos , Bamboo they are that colour they are not faded I appreciate you asking

Oh okay, I've seen bearded irises like this in burgundy and yellow, but the colours are much, much brighter...

The closest I can find is Jacquesiana, but even that one isn't quite as drab is the one in your picture, and I'm wondering about the colour of the beards your pic shows, which appear to be dun brown or grey, whereas many similar ones to this, and closer in colours, display bright orange or bright yellow, even red, beards - has this flower been open for a while, so that the 'beard' has lost its pollen and colour?

It opened this morning , I quite like the unusual colour makes a unique change from the others that are very popular.
