Hallo all. These plants/ weeds have appeared between my potatoes ( self setting.....the weeds not the potatoes)...there are loads of them...from the tip of the leaf to the tip of the root is about 15cms....can anybody tell me what they are please so that I know if to dig them out or leave them....thanks for any answers.

They look like English marigolds to me (Calendula)

as bamboo says, i,m certain calendula lovely yellow flower that flowers all summer and every year. leave a few in to check this out.

Yes, calendula, they are lovely and seedlings move easily, just transplant a few as you will probably lose most when you earth up your spuds.
