The state of the arch now !
Started trimming the ivy covered arch - saw a couple of narrow cracks in the brickwork and decided it the ivy had to go. I'm still not sure whether I can leave the arch up.2 days work so far - and a long way to go. Have you ever felt you'd bitten off more than you could chew ?
