I have a normally beautiful lemon rhodedendron which has had lots of buds on but only one has opened over a week ago and the rest do not seem to be opening what has gone wrong lots of new leaves growing can anyone suggest a reason for this please.

Could it be suffering dryness at the roots? We haven't had much rain at all in the south, maybe it needs a good soak.

Did you have a late frost, this can cause the buds to abort.
