Please can anyone fully identify this shrub? I thought it might be one of the philadelphus; but not sure.

I agree with Bamboo below - Deutzia Gracilis 'Nikko' A beautiful shrub in the Hydrangeaceae family.

I'm pretty sure its Deutzia gracilis, possibly, but not necessarily, the cultivar 'Nikko'

Thanks Bathgate, Bamboo and Sheilabub. My sister is delighted. It was a cutting she got 16 years ago which never bloomed much until she moved it and pruned it late last year !
