Hi, if you mean Calliandra haematocephala, then they are native to W, Africa, Madagascar, India, and tropical and sub tropical North and South America, so I wouldn't imagine they would have to do much adapting, if this is an exam question, {and it sounds very much like it is,} perhaps it would be wiser to try re-wording the question a little, rather than just copying straight from the exam paper, Derek.

If its an exam question this is not the way to go about answering it anyway. You are supposed to listen to the lectures and do the research not just ask somebody for the answer.
