I have a plant that I thought was knapweed but is not. It is a blue/purple flower with a slightly downy leaf that grows from stem. the leaf is about 12 cm long and 3cm wide, the plant grows to about 2 foot. The base of the flower resembles the base of a thistle but the flower has a dozen or so unusually ,toothed feathery petals. It has been flowering for about 2 weeks. (Glasgow
