They flower very easily as long as they have enough to drink. They're one of the easiest indoor plants I've come across and will cope with varying degrees of neglect but they are thirsty. I feed mine occasionally and they flower quite profusely.

And they need light but not in the sun.

Yes agree with above. I had no flowers until I started weekly feed with tomato feed.

I neglect mine. It is very pot bound and only gets watered when I think about it or when it starts to droop. It does get fed a few times a year to make up for the pot boundness but it flowers happily, sometimes four flowers at a time. If you feed and water to generously you may get lush leaves but no flowers.
