Can anyone please tell me what this plant is. In the early spring they were everywhere in my flower border and looked like antirrhinum self sets. But now, I know they aren't. I am assuming its a weed.

Hi, they look like Godetia to me as well, Derek.

I agree . . the leaves look exactly like the Godetia seedlings in my greenhouse.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I didn't grow godetia last year, I was boring and just grew french marigolds in that border. But this year I have grown some and they are similar, but aren't the same. The flower/weed does have a flower bud I think. So I guess the only thing to do is wait for it to open to give us all more of a clue as to what it is. Will post a photo when the bud opens.

If you didn't grow godetia than my next bet is its one of the smaller willowherbs. Pale willow herb Epilobium roseum, has small pale pink flowers 5-7mm long petals. or if the stems are hairy towards the base then Hoary willowherb, Proper name escapes me, pale pink flowers 5-10mm in length.
I have rather a lot of it at the mo as I thought self sown anti's or godetia, but they have started to flower.
They have small wind blown seeds.
