Good evening all, I'm just wondering if it's ok to dig out some of my Rodgersia, I want to give some to a friend, will it damage the main plant which is huge. Also just want to show you my wall which was Awful ? a few weeks ago and I asked for advice it seemed to paint was the only answer, so here it is ☺ a bit better I think. Many thanks for all the advice over the years.

the wall is brilliant.
as for lifting the Rodgersia if you use a sharp spade to cut cleanly between stems and lift it with soil it should transplant fine. lots of water in the early weeks until it gets established.

Wall looks good. Even with the best masonry paint you may want to freshen it up more frequently than the 7-10 years endurance of the paint. Direction of rain, splashing etc will detract from the crisp whiteness that you have now.
