Have had conflicting information on what we believe is a Yucca. Can you identify and inform us how often it may flower. This is the first time of flowering. It has been there for about 10 years. We are located in Burton on Trent. Please see photo.

Yes, it's a Yucca. It should flower every year now.

I found that after a while the main plant begins to look shabby and side ones come

it looks lovely, I'd remove the flower spike after its finished flowering

the ones at work flower every year so should be fine . they are a handsome plant.

I had a yucca in my last garden. It was easily ten years old and never flowered - until the year we moved away!
