Yes, you can, but you have to be careful that you do not breach Plant Breeders Rights. These are like plant copyrights where you can divide plants for your own use but not to sell. It protects the plant breeder to ensure they get a fair return for all the work they put in to breeding new varieties. Heuchera tend to grow upwards so that you find you have a plant with a stalk, almost, and lots of 'bare branches' sitting above the ground. these bits can be broken off and treated as soft wood cuttings. They root easily. Alternatively you can just dig it up and plant it deeper to give a bigger plant. To find out if your heuchera comes under PBR look on any site eg Plantagogo, which is owned by Vicky1, a member of GOY. PBR will be written next to the name of the Heuchera.

Welcome to GOY. You can lift and divide heuchera in either the spring or in the autumn. Dig up the plant and cut it up with a bit of root on each portion. Then replant the pieces.
