Last night I had a small crop of raspberries to pick, got up this morning and something has eaten them all - just leaving the white inner core. The likely culprits are likely to be rabbits, squirrels or my 2 dogs. Which is it most likely to be?

You need to net them if this is happening. its a pain but it works.

The most likely culprits are blackbirds.

It is funny, we have a garden full of birds, but we have never had to net the raspberries. (Bows to Hurbris).Yes, we lose a few, but since I picked 20 pounds of them yesterday, I reckon the birds are not taking that many. Lose more Cherries to the magpies than any other fruit.

Lovely to have enough to do that OB!
Three female blackbirds flew out of mine the other day...
Best thing is to pick the rasps the minute they're ripe enough and see if you can beat them to it.

Birds... they'll eat ripe raspberries faster than you can say 'knife'!
