I have an allotment which I enjoy working in now that I am retired.

I live in Newport a nice little town where I have lived all my life except for the 2 year doing NS, but now the local council are allowing too many houses to be built here which will spoil the lovely market town it has been for hundreds of years, I know some will say it progress which is fine but not to the detriment of the town and it's people. I am also the Administrator of a regimental site that used to be the Regiment that I did my NS with which was amalgamated in 1969 and became the Blues and Royals, we have a reunion every year now in June and in 2015 it will be our two hundredth anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.
